The Tack Market is the New Zealand marketplace built specifically for the horse community. We bring the trust of a closed community with the convenience of online buying.

For buyers

   Browse listings

   Filter by category, size, brand or region. Photos and honest descriptions from real sellers.

   Message the seller

   Ask questions, request more photos, negotiate offers — all in-app.

   Pay securely

   Stripe processes the payment over a secure connection, with funds settling to the seller in the usual couple of business days — sometimes faster. You're covered by Stripe's standard chargeback protection through your card issuer. For casual sales you can also arrange a private payment with the seller by exchanging bank details in-app — be aware that private payments do not carry Stripe's chargeback cover.

   Receive and review

   When the item arrives, leave a review. Honest reviews help other riders trust good sellers.

For sellers

   List in 60 seconds

   Photos, title, price, condition. Done. Open the iOS app and you can even dictate the description by voice.

   Get verified

   Connect your bank via Stripe (NZ-based). Takes 5 minutes.

   Reply to messages

   Buyers ask questions, you answer. Accept or counter their offers.

   Ship, get paid

   Funds land in your Stripe payout account the moment the buyer pays. Stripe then transfers them to your NZ bank on its standard schedule — usually a couple of business days, sometimes faster. For casual sales you can also arrange payment with the buyer directly by exchanging bank details in-app. Communicate directly with the buyer to arrange shipping and delivery.

Fees

* Stripe charges its own standard processing fee on every card payment — that’s a normal cost of card payments, not a platform fee. We pass that cost on transparently rather than hiding it in your payout.
